The specific nature of cities in the Islamic world and their concepts and inclusive common characteristics indicate the influence of the Islamic culture and their relationship with religious teachings. Thus, the Islamic city is a term introducing the cities influenced by the Islamic culture and values. This article, relying on references in Quranic verses to various aspects of architecture and urban planning as well as on the opinions of the commentators and philologists, has extracted reviewed and analyzed the identifiers and components of city in view of the Holy Quran while not considering the verses related to the life of the saints and eternal life. In this context, information and data have been collected and studied through analytic descriptive approach. The Holy Quran in order to avoid unnecessary and harmful construction refers to attributes such as security, peace, respect and compliance with natural and climatic conditions in urban and worldly development while also considering the ideal, perfect and absolute aspects in the heavenly abode. The style of the Quran in explaining the attributes of constructions is stressing the qualitative aspects in providing human social shelters and places. Basically, though, religious teachings do not mention detailed criteria and specific guidelines in this respect.
<fullTextUrl>http://jiqs.ir/Article/36950</fullTextUrl><keywords><keyword>Identifiers of City

In all theories of growth, mothers have been mentioned as having the most influence on child. Hence, this research tries to answer questions like: How does the psychology of quality consider the influence of mother on child? How do the Quran and Hadiths describe the role of mothers and their influence on children? What are the points shared between Islamic teachings and physiology on this subject? The findings of this research indicate that psychologists like Bowlby attach importance to the role of mother after the birth while Islam considers the upbringing of children beginning with the selection of spouse, then pregnancy and then birth. In both views, the characteristics of the mother play a significant role in shaping the child’s personal and social character. Father’s role is also important, both in raising the child and, indirectly, in influencing the mother’s mental health.
<fullTextUrl>http://jiqs.ir/Article/36951</fullTextUrl><keywords><keyword>Islam and Psychology

Conformity is a subject which, as a social behavior, can be discussed in different courses. In this paper, we have discussed it from psychological, philosophical and Quranic perspectives. Methods: This research uses a descriptive-analytical method and the data has been collected based on a bibliographical method. Conclusion: The findings of this research indicate that Conformity is a psychological fact that human beings resort to it because of their need to live in community. If this conformity is founded upon reflection and thought, it is a desirable thing. Otherwise, it is something to be avoided because, philosophically, it challenges human being’s individuality and according to the Quran, jeopardizes one’s salvation in this world and the Hereafter.
<fullTextUrl>http://jiqs.ir/Article/36952</fullTextUrl><keywords><keyword>conformity

Besides, The Quran as the primary source of Islamic law has also not neglected this important issue. This paper endeavors to extract the Quran’s viewpoints on child’s rights. The word “ṭifl” (infant) has explicitly been used by the Quran to address the process of human creation from its earliest stage. Seemingly, the Quran has regarded the start of childhood from conception onward, the point from which the child’s rights should be taken into consideration. This paper discusses the Quranic view of children, then, the issue of children’s rights according to the Quran will be studied. Children’s rights will be discussed at two levels, before and after birth. The former usually deals with what influences the future life of the child; the latter includes issues like ensuring as health and security, naming, breastfeeding, religious training, etc. which will be covered in the paper.
<fullTextUrl>http://jiqs.ir/Article/36953</fullTextUrl><keywords><keyword>Child

This phenomenon originates from personal, economic, cultural, political and judicial factors. Hence, the religion’s strategies to prevent and combat the problem include informal and internal strategies like Taqwa (God-fearing), patience, faith in the Hereafter, social responsibility, etc, as well as official strategies such as political, economic, cultural and judicial ones. This research, with a review of the verses of the holy Quran and the Hadiths (sayings) of the Infallible (AS), explains and clarifies the factors that lead to corruption and ways to combat them. According to the results of this study, Islam has a multifaceted view of the issue of uprooting the causes and origins of administrative corruption and recommends decisive action against such corruption when it happens.
<fullTextUrl>http://jiqs.ir/Article/36955</fullTextUrl><keywords><keyword>Administrative Corruption
