Verses of the Quran are manifestations of God’s beauty and magnificence and Muslim artists have benefited from these verses to create art works that manifest their ideal Heaven. In line with this, the Persian garden-carpet is a reflection of the picture of garden-heaven, which itself is considered a display of Quranic paradise. Quranic paradise’s patterns are used in both Iranian carpets and gardens which help us know Muslims' beliefs through their art. The aim of this research is to recognize the ancient patterns of Persian garden in the Quran’s verses, especially verses of Surah Al-Rahman, and investigate how they are used in Persian carpet structure. The questions that are posed in this research are:1) How do the Quran’s verses, especially Surah Al-Rahman, describe Heaven? 2) How can we see Quranic paradise’s patterns in Persian garden structure and carpet-garden? To answer these questions, a descriptive-analytic method, which relies on comparative techniques, has been used. The results of the research show that the structure of garden-carpet in Islamic Iranian art agrees with the parameters and features of the Quranic paradise. Therefore, it could be concluded that the carpet–garden is considered as the sample of heaven-garden with semantic, functional, and somatic triple orders.

It usually abstains from attempts at making sense of the history as a structural concept. This pathology of common historical methodology is dealing with two principal issues i.e. the analysis of the Islamic historiography (Hadith) outside its structure and disregarding the Historical frequency in the historical scholarship. A fresh approach goes beyond the verbal shape of historical frequency. It is argued in this paper that every historical narration contains un-limited narrations regarding not just its expressed direction but the numerous directions beyond the textual implication. This Ultra expression's view is often ignored within analysis of the narratives transmitted in Islamic tradition.
<fullTextUrl>http://jiqs.ir/Article/36936</fullTextUrl><keywords><keyword>Historical Methodology

In order to comment on Islam’s point of view about sociology and possibility of Islamisation of the field, however, it is necessary to first explain the ontology of the society from Islam’s viewpoint and then to assess the feasibility of codification of scientific propositions based on the viewpoint of this religion about society. Through a documentary method, this research tries to present the viewpoint of Islam about society and its law-governedness by studying the basic religious texts such as Quran and Hadith (i.e. Tradition). It will be seen that there are four groups of verses implying a law-governed society, among which the first group includes nineteen sets of verses that directly signify law-governed society.
<fullTextUrl>http://jiqs.ir/Article/36937</fullTextUrl><keywords><keyword>Individualism

Moreover, Architecture gets its qualities from the qualities of human life. Since the quality of human life receives its different spiritual aspects from the cognitive system and perceptions of the architect and his life, it is not possible to discuss the relationship between architecture and human life quality in a research without Based on the presumptions of this study, the most effective cognitive system is that presented by Islam in the teachings of Quran, which is rooted in the innate existence (Fitrat) of man, and “Hayat-e-Tayyebah” is its fundamental basis. Therefore, the main consideration in this paper is to discuss the teachings of the Quran about the quality of human life and how they can be used in architecture. The aim has been to introduce an interdisciplinary research possibility using modeling and logical argumentation and analyzing issues in architecture with a look at the theoretical framework of the Holy Quran toward human and his life. To this end, knowledge about humans has been introduced as the basic cognition in architecture that leads to understanding human life. Finally, potentials of architecture have been redefined in interaction with the quality of human life.
<fullTextUrl>http://jiqs.ir/Article/36938</fullTextUrl><keywords><keyword>Architecture

Out of 1350 depressed mothers, 45 were selected and given Beck’s 21-question test (B.D.I-II). They were divided into 3 approximately equal groups and information was collected with two mental well-being tests: the 39-question test (Molavi and colleagues, 1390) and 28-question mental health test (Goldburg, 1972). The amount of Quran Logotherapy on depressed mothers’ mental well-being is (p-value<0.04) and the amount of Quran Logotherapy on their mental health is (p-value<0.01). In this study, library research and analytical methods have been used. Currently, there is not much research done on interdisciplinary studies of the Quran and scholars have little access to related works and books. The solution to this problem is to create a comprehensive database of information in cyberspace specialized in the field of interdisciplinary Quranic studies. It will include the collection of books as well as articles related to conferences, journals and newspapers on the subject. There should also be plans for collecting works on interdisciplinary studies of the Quran conducted in other countries.
<fullTextUrl>http://jiqs.ir/Article/36943</fullTextUrl><keywords><keyword>Interdisciplinary Quranic studies
